Hello, I'm going to talk about 3C Flexible Designs again. This time, we'll look at the top 5 bestsellers: 4 of them are engagement rings, and the 5th is an anniversary band. I'll show you a couple of variations on each to show how they can be adapted to birthstone or fashion rings. They're not limited to proposals! They make great gifts for any occasion, or why not treat yourself?
The style pictured above is the number one bestselling flexible design. It shows lots of the current trends: white gold, halo, accented shank, accented wedding band, and a cushion-shaped center stone. (But pear shapes & rose gold are growing in popularity.) The first variation shows how you can incorporate some color into your engagement ring or a right-hand diamond ring.
The next is great for October birthdays, or just anyone who likes pink!
Following that in popularity is a simple solitaire with a thin band, also in white gold. It has a 7.4mm round center stone, which is approximately 1 1/2 carats.
Anyone with a March or August birthday would appreciate the aquamarine or peridot variants.
Next is another solitaire, this time with a wider band. Still a classic look, white gold, but with a princess-cut diamond.
Changing it up a little bit with a pear-shaped amethyst and a heart-shaped sapphire.
Now for the anniversary band! Anniversary bands only have stones on the top and partway down the sides, and the look is similar to an eternity band, which has stones all the way around. The advantage is that you have less risk of damage to your stones, since they aren't on the bottom where they can get hit more frequently, and there is a place to size your ring later on when it's needed. This one has 14 2mm round diamonds in white gold.
Again, a very different look by changing the shape and size of the stones. Fun fashion for any finger!
Last but certainly not least, the 3-stone engagement ring with a contoured wedding band. It has a 1 carat round center stone with smaller round diamonds on the sides, again in white gold. In addition to being a popular engagement style, this is a frequent choice for upgrading. Often, a bride with a smaller solitaire will be gifted a new ring on a later anniversary. The original diamond is used as one of the side stones, with a larger center and matching stone on the other side.
The difference in this style is amazing with just a little tweaking of the center stone! (Any July babies out there? I was born in July, and I may have to actually get the ruby design!)
